Friday the 13th is a 2009 American horror film directed by Marcus Nispel, and written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. It is a reboot of the Friday the 13th film series.
On June 13, 1980, a young Jason Voorhees witnesses his mother (Nana Visitor) get beheaded by a camp counselor who was trying to escape Mrs. Voorhees's murderous rampage around Camp Crystal Lake. Twenty-nine years later, Jason stalks and kills a group of friends who came to Crystal Lake on a camping trip. |
