KryptonSite is reproting that Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the creators of "Smallville", are currently attending the 2007 Jules Verne Festival in Paris, France with the show's own Michael Rosenbaum, the actor behind Lex Luthor. At the festival, the show is being honored and spotlighted yet again. During the course of the event, the creators were interviewed about the show where a few bits of information about it's future have come out.
- Tom Welling is signed with the show through an 8th season. It appears that the powers behind the show want ti to run ultimately through it's eighth year before ending it there.
- Michael Rosenbaum's contract ends at the end of the 7th season, so if there are future seasons then Clark will be fighting other villains. However, Michael could guest star.
- Aaron Ashmore will be back as Jimmy Olsen in the 7th season. Though it is not confirmed, it sounds like he could have a contract for 13 episodes.
- Justin Hartley will not be back as the Green Arrow as he is attached to another project.
